It's all the same to you | 2009

It's all the same to you is an installation of 40-50 birdcages suspended from the ceiling, filling the entire room. The empty cages leave evidence of a solitary bird; perhaps even a couple, that once lived in the enclosures. Speaking to issues of loss, absence and the desire to escape, this installation furthers an exploration on obstructions and limitations while confronting the absent - yet ever-present - cacophonic chatter of sounds.
