No Peeking | 2000-2002No Peeking is an assortment of ‘instants’ shared largely with my partner and friends. In seeking out what is private and intimate – the immediacy of the moment - I was producing a visual diary. Formally, the work drew inspiration from the snapshot aesthetic; where the instant-captured moment appears as accidental and haphazard, becoming a form of recording an event.
